Houston Chronicle 2003 – Whine & Dine:
Robin Millis of Missouri City says her family found the food delicious and the service terrific at a new Indian restaurant in the Sugar Land area. They returned a week later to Shiva, 16556 Southwest Freeway, to celebrate her husband’s birthday and were greeted by the person who waited on them before. He remembered the Millses and asked if they wished to sit at their usual spot. “We were surprised and gratified by his courtesy.” Her family recommends vegetable pakoras and samosas to start. The chicken biryani and curry dishes were good, she says, and the naan bread, especially the one with the ground lamb, was delicious. Their 13-year-old son loved the tandoori chicken.
